The presidential aid to President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammed Buhari; Femi Adesina took to twitter to express why the said presidential address scheduled for Monday 18th May, 2020 could not hold.

A tweet by Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina via his official twitter handle @FemiAdesina reads;

"No Presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps."
